A co-worker asked me yesterday if I believe in fate. If you are talking about destiny, yes, I replied. My belief is; there is a destined path for everyone, no matter what path we choose to take, the original path will always be waiting. Most people do not folllow their path, they make choices and decisions that go against their destiny, but there path will always there when they are ready to follow it. It make a lifetime, or many lifetimes, but their destiny (fate) will still be there.
This was a good moment for him, as he believes my fate to be different than what I believe it to be. There is also a possibility that he is confusing fate with infatuation.
